Brandon Ventura is a 2014 RHP/UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Fort worth, TX who attends Saginaw. Has a medium athletic frame with room to fill out. Has a good balanced online delivery, good repeatable mechanics, and competes on the mound. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with easy effort, has a long arm action with good command of the strike zone and occasionally cuts his fastball. Shows an accurate arm defensively with good feet and keeps the ball in front of him. Has a slightly open stance from the left side of the plate with a toe-tap trigger with a rotational swing. Has a line drive swing plane from the right side with a leg lift trigger and a contact approach. Is a good student.
