Devin Haught is a 6' 200 pound 2006 left handed pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder from Daly City, California who attends Stuart Hall High School. He has a large body with sloped shoulders.During the workout, he threw 77 mph from first base and ran a respectable 7.58 60. Devin throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a compact arm action. His fastball topped out at 74 mph with occasional run inside to a right handed hitter. He has good command of his fastball and it is his best pitch. His curveball at 58 mph is more of a finesse pitch. His change up is a good pitch at 70 mph and he also shows good command of it. He can be effective if he keeps the ball down in th strike zone. At the plate, Haught shows an aggressive swing with a balanced average base. He has a high front leg kick upon approach to contact.He shows some good bat speed and good strength in his swing.
