Tanner Campbell is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from De Leon Springs, FL who attends Taylor HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Tall delivery with a short compact arm action, tight 3/4's arm slot, keeps hands close to body in delivery, has some deception. Fastball topped at 85 mph, have seen up to 89-91 mph in the past, works his fastball down in the zone with good sink and run. Slurve type breaking ball flashes good spin and bite at times, some developing feel for his change up. Mixes his pitches well and throws strikes, lots of ground ball contact. Projects well physically and has already shown the velocity. Excellent student, verbal commitment to West Virginia.
