Andrew Leilich is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-3 172 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Tall slender build, projects well physically. Compact arm action, 3/4's release slot, good balance in delivery, throws cross body and downhill. Fastball topped at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional run and sink, big early breaking slurve type slider, gets some depth and 2 plane shape, has more in his arm and body with additional strength and physical maturity. Right handed hitter, tall stance, busy hand load, long levers, has some raw bat speed and leverage to develop, line drive spray contact. Good student.
