Zachary Krupa is a 6'4", 2005 right handed pitcher from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, with some current skills and a good chance to get even better. He has long arms and legs and isn’t close to physical maturity. Krupa’s arm works very well and he throws an 80-82 mph fastball with little help from his body or lower half. In addition to getting more use out of his long and lanky body, Krupa could take an additional step forward by getting more velocity on his curveball. He gets some good rotation on the pitch but only throws it 59-62 mph, giving the hitter an ample chance to adjust. Krupa throws strikes with both pitches and competes well. He is very athletic, runs very well and shows good instincts. He's interesting and could end up being a special pitcher at the next level.
