Cooper Wright is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Hartselle, AL who attends Hartselle. Wright has a large frame with a long slender build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He sticks the ball in back and his arm works out front. Wright has a slight drop and drive style to his delivery and he pitches with some effort. He throws a 12/6 curveball at 66 MPH with good shape to it. His curveball got better the more he threw it in game. He also threw a straight change up at 71 MPH. There's more velocity in there with some lower half adjustments. Defensively he showed solid footwork around the bag at 1B. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance with an extended pull swing. Outstanding student.
