Cal Krainock is a 2013 2B/SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek HS. Slender broad shouldered build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, pull back load, square stance, tends to hit over back side, swings hard, aggressive swing approach, good bat speed, handles the barrel well and squares up consistently, ball jumps off the barrel. Runs the bases hard, gets good jumps, talented offensive player. 6.84 runner, speed more straight line than lateral, limited arm strength, might profile best in centerfield. Projectable player with offensive tools who plays the game hard. Good student.
