WP - Tommy Echols is a 2005 LHP/OF from San Deguito Academy in Encinitas, CA. Tommy has an average frame and build with room to add more muscle as his body continues to mature. He has a very good left handed swing. He shows very good bat control and the ability to make consistently solid contact with some raw power to the pull side when he keeps his back shoulder from dropping. Tommy shows the arm and body control to be a good left fielder. On the mound he has a loose arm with some average arm speed from a 3/4 arm slot. He showed some depth to his breaking ball with good spin.
