Nathan Imig is a 2014 RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Leander HS. Tall slender build, developing strength. Hand drop delivery, extended 3/4's release point, drives hard to the plate after balance point, sound overall mechanics. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, gets big run and sink on fastball, attacks early with fastball and spots down in zone, good feel for change up with similar life, still developing consistency on curveball release, flashes good spin at times. Has an idea how to pitch, throws ground balls and gets quick outs, projects to throw harder with more strength. Very good student.
