Justin Thaxton is a 2014 SS/ with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Regis Jesuit HS. Large athletic frame that projects well. As an infielder he showed good footwork with smooth soft hands fielding. Had a good transfer and release and showed lateral agility. As a left handed hitter, he hit from an open stance with a leg kick load, had good use of his lower half. He showed good bat speed with good plate coverage and the ability to square up the ball on a consistent basis. He showed good power in batting practice hitting 2 homeruns. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
