Ariel Kenney is a 2014 3B/OF, IF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends St.Augustine. Kenney has a medium sized frame with a stocky build. He uses a short arm action throwing across the infield and has developing arm strength. He has developing defensive actions with developing footwork. At the plate, Kenney has a quiet approach and gathers well at load. He takes his hands to the ball well and gets some extension in his swing. He maintains balance and has a simple swing. Kenney makes solid contact and he showed some pop in his game swings. Bat is best tool. Outstanding student.
