Mitchell Haug is a 2013 C/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Harrisonville, MO who attends Harrisonville. Strong lean build, muscular lower half. Online catch & throw mechanics, strong arm, has the tools to become high level defensive catcher. Moves well behind the plate, good lateral agility, will cut down on pop time with quicker release. Good stroke offensively, has bat speed, strong at contact. Squares up well, feasts on fastballs, hits from a slightly open stance with a slight crouch, hits against a stiff front side. Has tools to become a good Catching prospect. Excellent student.
