Tristan Metten is a 2015 SS/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Strong well proportioned athletic build. 6.89 runner, very good arm strength, long release may have to be shortened for future middle infield work, shows soft hands with good range, especially to his left, very good defensive tools overall. Right handed hitter, opens front side very early, body and hands are out of sync in swing, has the strength and raw bat speed to hit with adjustments, shows pull power when he gets his pitch. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
