Casey Selfe is a 2015 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Two-way player who especially stood out on the mound. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a medium length arm action that works well. Good lower half use and rhythm to delivery, limited frontside use, can get more out of it. Slow deliberate pace to delivery, well controlled, mixes pitches well and throws curveball in any count, good depth with 11-5 shape and downer break, sinks changeup. Hits from a spread stance, short aggressive swing, cuts off extension, uses whole field, solid bat speed. Quick hands defensively, long arm action on throws with solid arm strength, able to make accurate throws while off balance. Good student, named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
