Randy Torres is a 2013 OF/1B, LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends All Hallows HS. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Plenty of room to add strength. In the outfield he showed smooth actions and really does a nice job of getting on top of the ball. He has a long smooth arm action and consistently made accurate throws. Also showed good hands and footwork at 1B. A right handed hitter, he showed solid bat speed. Hits from a wide set and uses a toe tap trigger. Showed the ability to square up the ball on a consistent basis. Good athlete, also ran a 6.73 60 yard dash. Outstanding student.
