Zevnick is a Junior second baseman who at 5 foot 11 and 175 pounds has a good lean-athletic build. He ran a 7.6 in the 60 but it was with a stumble and we saw him much better in the field and on the bases. He threw 70 mph across the field but he never appeared to let one go. We liked his swing, showing a short and quick stroke with a good plane hitting down on the ball. He looked to be a good low ball hitter almost to a fault, swinging directly to the ball and really mashed a couple low fastballs. He uses a slightly open stance and showed good hitting mechanics overall. He pitched in the rain cruising at 76 mph but it is his bat that will find him a good College next year. Keep an eye on him, he is still a Junior.
