Dalton Homeier is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Owatonna, MN who attends Owatonna HS. Slender athletic build, solid lower 1/2 strength. Very long extended arm action, severe head pull on release, loses the plate on release, extended overhand slot. Mid 70's fastball, touched 77 mph. Commanded curveball much better than FB, good spin with downer shape, rare change up. Could improve with delivery adjustments. Long upper cut swing at the plate, likes the ball down in the zone, pull approach. Good student.
