Carson Castellano is a 2012 MIF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends Evangel Christian Academy. Slender build, young look for age. Polished defensive actions, works through the ball aggressively, good balance and hands, loose and flexible, some carry on throws, 7.00 runner with some foot quickness. Right handed hitter, straight stance, limited load, smooth short swing, takes the barrel to the ball, good balance, line drive plane, stays inside the ball, squares the ball up to all fields, has an idea how to hit. Should continue to develop with additional strength, has advanced skills. Has improved significantly over the past year. Very good student.
