Jake Best is a 2012 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Orangefield. Best has a young slender build. He hits from a slightly open stance, high hands at set, no load approach, rotational swing, hits to all fields, solid contact. He uses a short arm action behind the plate, solid transfer and release, developing actions. He is an excellent student.
