Mitchell Kern is a 2012 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Mound, MN who attends Mound-Westonka. Small athletic MIF prospect with quick reflexes who showed quickness in field, on the bases and at the plate. Also played Catcher and showed very well there with consistent pop times in the low 2.00s, good arm strength and good blocking skills. Showed good range in the field and soft hands. At the plate he showed a quick line drive swing with good contact skills. Good student.
