Matt Farris is a 2012 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Lantana, TX who attends Argyle. Farris has a slender body. He has a wide base at the plate, no stride approach, balanced swing, quick hands, loose out front, good path to ball, good swings in games, showed some pop. He has a good arm in the outfield, short arm action, solid actions, good speed. Also pitched, overhand slot, stays tall in delivery, good angle on fastball, has arm strength, 11/5 curveball. He is a solid student.
