Phillip Tucker is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends McEachern HS. Medium slender build, room to fill out, 7.62 runner, quick first step, showed some range and athletic actions, soft hands, long arm action with developing arm strength. Straight stance hitting, some back side collapse, uppercut swing plane, looks to pull, consistent contact. Also pitched, athletic delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, good balanced delivery. Mid 70's fastball, curveball gets good 2 plane shape, pitches to both sides of the plate and throws strikes, fields his position well.
