Reggie Jackson is a 2006 outfielder/first baseman from Prattville HS in Prattville, AL, with a 5'11", 210 lb. frame. Jackson is a strong player, especially in his lower half. He has good athleticism and runs well as shown by his 7.12 sixty. Along with his straight away speed, Jackson showed a good first step that helped him on the bases and in the field. Offensively he is a left handed hitter with an open stance that he closes well at contact. Jackson has a line drive swing plane with gap to gap power presently, but his power is projectable. He really turns on balls from the middle of the plate in, and that is when he shows his power the most. When he learns to stay back and drive the outside pitch the other way, he is going to be a complete hitter who will do some damage in the middle of a lineup. He has the tools.
