2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Christopher is an "04" 3B/1B from Florida. At 6'0/215 one might think he's over weight, but he is put together very well. He is extremely strong and has tools. He also pitched in Wareham, showing a low to mid 80s fastball and a nice curve ball. He plays 3B very well and has the arm strength to stay there. By far his best tool is the bat. He created the best sound off the wood in Wareham. He uses his strength and strong lower body to mash baseballs. He shows plus bat speed and big time power potential. Michael is an excellent student with a 3.83 GPA and a 1220 SAT. He is very interested in top academic schools and would fit in well right in the middle of the line up.
