Sterling Maness is a 2012 OF/IF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll HS. Medium athletic frame, some present strength. 7.07 runner, shows athleticism at both OF/IF, quick actions, moves well, arm strength developing, good IF throws in games. Wide base hitting, smooth simple load, loose quick hands, good looking swing, hits to all fields and shows RCF power, has bat speed, fights off touch pitches and competes well, good idea how to hit. Also pitches, minimum effort delivery, upper 70's fastball, showed some depth on 11/5 curveball. Good student.
