Ian Mezlak is a 2011 MIF/OF with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Lorain, OH who attends Clearview HS. Strong muscular build. Good looking swing, has present bat speed, aggressive approach, can turn on the ball, gets long at times, shows power. Good defensive skills both IF and OF, nice arm strength both positions, good hands defensively, balanced athletic actions. Tools profile very well as a catcher, would try there. Named to Top Prospect team.
