2009 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Brock Estes is a 2009 OF/P/IF with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Rapid City, SD who attends Stevens HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Pre load hitting approach, level swing, has bat speed, strong at ball, showed some pop, will need to work through timing issues. Good outfield arm strength, throws carry, can improve OF footwork, 7.28 runner. Also pitched, well paced delivery, OH release, consistent 84-85 mph fastball, mostly straight, SL can be sharp at 76 mph.
