McClintock is a switch hitting infielder that showed a good glove and a quick release on the double play ball. He projects best as a second baseman and can make the turn look easy with fast hands and good arm action. His bat showed almost as well as his glove. He showed a similar swing from both sides of the plate being short to the ball and level but he appeared to hit best from the right side with more power and a bit more of a fluid swing through to his finish. His other tools don't jump out at you, but he can play. He is a good student.
