Trey Walding is a 2013 OF/LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Ariton, AL who attends G.W. Long HS. Athletic projectable frame with a strong build. Has good arm strength, short arm action, accurate, fluid, good actions, good feet work. Starts out with a slightly open stance at the plate, high hands, toe-tap trigger, quick bat, gap to gap hitter with pop, good bat speed, good extension, short to the ball, ball jumps off the bat. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long arm action, curveball has 1-7 break to it, throws strikes, change up is a good pitch, change up has sink to it, needs to get ahead more often. Is an interesting prospect to follow. Is a good student.
