Greco is a right handed hitting junior third baseman from Illinois with very good present strength throughout his body. He has good smooth actions at third base and a loose and flexible arm. Greco threw 75 mph across the infield in drills and ran the 60 in 7.63. Greco showed good hitting skills at the plate and could improve with some mechanical adjustments. He hits from a wide, knee bent stance with no stride and this takes away the power from his lower half. Greco is strong enough to create bat speed with his hands and arms, though, and has a nice middle of the field line drive swing with bat speed. He showed the ability to stay back on the ball during games and the ball jumps off his bat very nicely. Greco also threw three innings from the mound, showing a smooth delivery, a 75-78 mph fastball and some tight spin on a downer 61-63 mph curveball. Greco is an excellent student who should make a solid player at the right college program.
