Drew Farber is a 2010 C with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from Bethesda, MD who attends St. John's HS. Solid build, very good present strength, mature look. Good hitting rhythm, simple repeatable swing mechanics, short to the ball, keeps hands above ball at contact, line drive contact to all fields, good bat speed, hitting tools for the next level. Low set up defensively, calm and clean release, good footwork, throws carry well, small pause in release, good game actions. Very good runner, 6.99, for catcher. Solid all around skills. Excellent student, signed with UNC-Wilmington.
