Palm is a 5-10, 125 lb senior infielder from Florida with exceptionally thin legs. He ran the 60 in 7.71 and threw 69 mph during infield workouts. Palm moves smoothly through balls on defense and has soft hands but will need to work on improving his arm strength. He did show an accurate arm. Palm hits from a no stride approach with a big rock back to get his momentum headed towards the ball. He handled the bat pretty well considering his size and weight and had a couple of hits during the games. More strength would obviously help. Palm also pitched a couple of innings, staying around the plate with an upper 60’s fastball and keeping hitters off balance.
