D.J. Turo is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Theodore. Athletic build, short quick arm action on the mound, good arm speed, aggressive pitching style, works quick, tight 2 to 8 curveball, good raw stuff, armside run on his fastball, will cut fastball occasionally, good straight change-up, maintains arm speed on change-up, shows bat speed at the plate, quick hands, good raw power potential, stays inside the ball some, good arm at first base, soft hands, light on his feet, great student.
