Jesus Valdez-Adames is a free agent RHP with a 6'4'', 176 lb. frame from San Juan, Dominican Republic. Jesus has a tall projectable pitcher's body with a lot of room to fill out. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Jesus has nice run on his fastball and it looks like his velocity is ready to have a big jump sometime soon. His curveball rolls some right now and he needs to work on staying on top of the ball. Jesus is raw at this point, but seems to have great upside. It would be easy to see him throwing 90 in another year. Jesus could attract some pro attention over the next few years.
