DJ Ferguson is a 6' 185 pound 2006 right handed pitcher and outfielder from Jupiter, Florida who has a medium build and is strong with a solid build. He has good arm speed and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. He showed very good control and finishes well to the plate. DJ's fastball topped out at 87 mph and was fairly straight. His curveball at 72 mph was very hard breaking and a tough pitch to hit. His change up at 78 mph had plus sink and was a good pitch as well. Ferguson attacked the hitters with all three pitches. He looks to be a prototypical power pitcher who projects to add more velocity. DJ is a must follow who is also a good student as well with a 3.0 gpa.
