Danny Cavaletto is a 2007 OF/3B with a 5'8'', 150 lb. frame from Goleta CA, who attends Dos Pueblos. Cavaletto has a thin lean build with a medium sized frame. He is a good runner and has a quick first step defensively. Cavaletto moves well at 3B and has nice hands. He has good range and moves to the ball athletically. He is a versitile defender who can play multiple positions. At the plate, Cavaletto has a good approach and has a contact hitter's mentality in the box. He stays back well on offspeed pitches and can drive the ball well to the opposite field. He has a smooth stroke and swings on a line drive path. He has quick hands with some bat speed. Good student.
