Curry is a strong, physically solid young catcher with broad shoulders and a thick chest. His best tool is unquestionably his bat. Curry has a right field approach at the plate with a quick, compact swing and line drive power. He drilled line drive after line drive in batting practice. Curry stays in well on curveballs and looks like he should be able to handle top level pitching. Curry’s pop times can improve with more work. His arm strength is good but a bit below Big League average.He does show nice receiving skills and some quickness. He was very accurate in both workouts and in game situations with his throws. Dale is a good student with athletic ability. He even runs OK for a catcher. The bat plays large!
