Richard Salvucci is a 2008 3B/IF from Quincy HS, residing in Quincy, Massachusetts, with a 5'11"/180 pound frame. Richard has a solid frame. He hits from a slightly open stance and closes well. Salvucci has a knee lift trigger and a top hand release. He has solid bat speed with gap to gap power and is first pitch aggressive. Richard will get long with his swing at times. He has long arm action across the infield with an accurate arm at 75 mph. Salvucci's arm does look stiff at times and he needs to improve his velocity. He has solid range and moves well defensively at third base. Richard is an excellent student.
