2005 World Showcase
Christopher Eggert is a 2005 catcher from Brandon Florida with a strong baseball body at 6 ft. 1 200 pounds. He hits from a wide stance with a big leg raise trigger with a long stride which tends to make his landing foot late. He showed good bat control and uses the opposite field almost exclusively. He has good raw physical tools and with his strength shows big power potential. Behind the plate, He has a nice wide base and receives the ball with soft hands. He has a good set up with quick feet and popped a 2.13 at 72 mph. He handles pitchers well and has a good feel for the game. He has good skills and will be a solid catcher at the next level. Christopher is a very good student. He has an interest in the Military Academies.
