Michael Carroll is a 2008 RHP/SS/OF that attends William Penn Charter HS and resides in Erdenhiem, PA with a 5'10", 150 lb. frame. Michael has a lean athletic build and showed off big arm strength in the outfield. (85) On the mound Michael throws from an OH arm slot with a short arm circle. He shows a sharp 11 to 5 CB and solid command on the mound. His mechanics are a little bit jerky and he tends to open his hands up a little to early. At the plate Michael shows consistent contact with some lift in his swing. He is a little to jumpy in the box and needs to calm his approach down some. Michael looked his strongest in the oufield. He showed off a strong arm with plus carry and had good overall athletic ability in the outfield. Michael looks like a player that will attract the attention of many mid-level colleges.
