Matt Dunbar is a 2008 LHP/1B from South Torrance HS, residing in Torrance, California, with a 6'1"/195 pound frame. Matt has a solid frame. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. Dunbar has a high leg kick and an onlne delivery with some effort. He has solid command on the mound with an 84 mph fastball with arm side run. Matt does a nice job changing speeds with his fastball. He has a short curveball at 72 mph and his changeup has sink at 71 mph. Dunbat hits from a straight stance with solid bat speed. He has a line drive approach at the plate. Matt has lift in his swing at times and uses the whole field to hit. He has long arm action from first base with a solid arm at 79 mph. Dunbar has good hands and good footwork around the bag. Matt is a good student.
