Nolan Schneiderman is a 2007 2B/P/SS with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Bell Canyon, CA, who attends Calabasas HS. Lean, medium frame with wiry strength. Defensively he made some very nice plays during the showcase games including making a nice play up the middle from 2B on a short hopper. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from straight away and upright stance with a low hand set. Schneiderman stays inside the ball well with a simple step and swing approach and a line drive swing plane. He hustles and shows good speed in the sixty. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with solid arm action and arm speed. He throws with very little effort, and has an online and balanced delivery. His fastball topped out at 79 mph with cutting action, and he mixed in a tight curveball at 68 mph. He throws strikes with both pitches and keeps the ball down in the zone. He is also an outstanding student.
