Thielepape is a MLB sized first baseman with a level swing that sprays the ball over the field and can drive the middle hard. His swing looked good as he hit behind the ball and showed some of his strength. He showed good arm strength for a first baseman and can field his position too. He will need to work on his quickness to have more opportunities of extra base hits in the gaps. He is best suited at 1B and his glove played well there. His bat-speed was not yet up to his potential and we think he will benefit at the next level with a quicker swing. But overall, the sky is the limit with his power and if he continues to grow he could be very dangerous with aluminum. Excellent student.
