Alex Lozada is a 2007 outfielder from Florida with a 5'6", 170 lb. frame. He has good speed and quickness and can makes things happen with his legs, bat, and arm. Defensively he can cover a great deal of ground, and shows a strong arm with good carry and accuracy. Lozada has the speed to play CF and the arm to handle RF. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a very quick bat. He starts from an open stance and closes well at contact with some present strength in his swing. Lozada is an aggressive hitter who looks to drive the ball from gap to gap. The kid can hit and projects to be a top of the order hitter who can get on base and make things happen. Don't be fooled by his size because he can play, and it appears as if he enjoys playing the game. He is a must follow with good upside.
