Ryan Bennett is a 2015 3B/SS with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek HS. Shorter build with come compact strength. 7.17 runner, second base actions and tools defensively, plays under control with good footwork, stays low on ball and shows soft hands and a quick release, moves in towards the ball well. Right handed hitter, coached up swing, arm bar to start, early load with limited shift in swing, line drive swing plane, front foot pull approach, shows some hand strength when squared, can improve with less of a step by step swing approach. Grades out best as a second baseman. Excellent student.
