Alexander Sica is a 2015 1B/3B, RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Franklin Lakes, NJ who attends Indian Hills. Medium frame with a strong and mature build. Primary first baseman, short steps off the bag, easy and short arm action, fields the ball out front, transfer well, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand set. Upper half swing, shows nice bat speed, keeps hands in, generates some leverage in swing, shows strength, front side opens early at times, uses a pull side approach.
