Jake Walker is a 2014 C/RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Thornton, CO who attends Mountain Range HS. Tall, lean frame with projection. Ran a 7.56 60 yard dash. Has a low setup behind the plate and a medium length arm action on his throws. Receiving skills are there. Starts open at the plate and has an early weight shift. Flashes strength in his swing and takes an aggressive, line drive swing. Also took the mound, reaches 76 mph with his fastball. Has a short arm action and releases from a high three-quarter arm slot. Mixes an 11-5 curveball at 67 mph with short, late break. Very good student.
