Von Stein is a 5-10, 160 lb right handed hitting outfielder from Connecticut. He showed very good tools and defensive skills during drills running the 60 in 7.18 and showing very good arm strength from the outfield at 84 mph. He looks good at all three outfield positions. Offensively, VonStain hits from a balanced no stride approach at the plate, with a short, contact oriented swing. He did a good job manipulating the bat head and hitting the ball where it was pitched. He needs to add more strength to be able to drive the ball consistently. VonStein is also a good student.
