Ryan Flowers is a 2008 OF/P/1B with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends Canyon. Flowers has a medium athletic build with present strength. In the outfield he has a strong, quick arm, and his throws are on the bag with carry. His top velocity from the outfield was 86 mph, and he follows his throws well. He hits from a wide base with a deep load and big stride. He has strength in his swing and has an aggressive power approach to hitting. He has some lift in his swing and he projects power in the future in addition to his present power. He has very projectable tools, and is a guy to follow. Flowers is also a very good student.
