Jason Postill is a 2007 OF/P with a 5'11'', 150 lb. frame from Winter Springs FL, who attends Winter Springs HS. He has a very lean build but has lots of life and deceptive strength to his body. Postill is a very good runner at 6.75. He showed a very good arm from the outfield, throwing 88 mph with very good carry. At the plate, Postill takes an aggressive rip at the ball and generates surprising bat speed. He drifts into pitches and really gets his hips and lower half into his swing. His best power is the right centerfield and he's going to surprise some pitchers who think he might be just a contact hitter. Postill also took a turn on the mound and threw well, showing good command of an 83 mph fastball and a downer curveball. Postill's tools are very good and could improve if he's able to add more strength. Keep an eye on him.
